Chabad Aid - PROCESS OF GIVING
1. Sourcing Funds
Chabad Aid rely 100% on fundraising Campaigns and the generosity of donors. Therefore it is vital to reach out to as many potential donors as possible. We have introduced our £20 A Month Club as our organisation seek for a stable source of money to help us be consistent with our services and keep on helping those in need. Russell Green, in addition to his logistics role, spearheads an annual Spinathon Project major fundraiser supported by the David Lloyd Chigwell (Support the Spinathon 2025 Project here - coming up soon)

2. Sourcing our Supplies
We are now a key authorised charity which collects goods daily from over 30 locations from UK's major supermarkets, wholesales and other suppliers.
3. Collecting our supplies
Volunteers and drivers collect the surplus foods, household products and toiletries donations from our collection points. This project is carried out by a group of dedicated drivers using their own vehicles and the Chabad Aid van to transport these essential goods.
4. Cooking, Sorting & Packing incoming goods
All goods are collected each Sunday through to Thursday from approved supermarkets and brought to the Chabad Centre to be sorted and packed. A team of volunteers sort the incoming goods and pack them into bags and boxes, making sure they account for individuals/ families needs and preferences.At this stage we then assess what essential items we need to purchase to supplement those goods from Chabad Aid's funds.
5. Packaged goods - Distribution
Our team of volunteer delivery drivers collect the packages for delivery. Our friendly volunteer drivers always make time to stop for a "chat", ensuring a positive experience for everyone.
6. Food re-distribution to other Food banks
Excess foods received beyond our direct needs are redistributed to other known food banks. In this way we can ensure there is no wastage whilst supporting many hundreds of other families in need.
